My little Cousin Jane, only by a few months !

As children we so enjoyed playing Monoply, games were organised & turned into marathons, almost diaried in, they went on & on & on, so long that just like our government in more recent years we had to print money for the bank to stay afloat, perhaps we started that trend ! this was a long time ago.
I was 14 when my father passed over, & i felt a little lost, so my Aunt Betty & Uncle Cyril (semi professional ball room dancers) would take Jane & myself along to the skefco ballroom dancing classes in Luton every Wednesday, Flaired trousers, platforms and velour tops were the bussiness back then, Jane was always more appropriately dressed and so patient and understanding of my problems, negotiating Jive, Quick Step & Waltzes amongst others, sometimes simultaneous, in platform shoes (James toes would stopped hurting after a few days) & she was so forgiving this carried on for several years. Happier times to reflect on are so important and never lost.
We became somewhat estranged as adulthood took over, with both of us being very strong willed, we naturally did everything our own way, that was generally very different to one another, but always lovely to catch up, in the main, when we were both visiting Bett & Cyril at 19 Brampton Park Road, Hitchin.
Bless, I surely miss you all, lovely memories of lovely times.
All the best Stewart Rataj
